Encoded Entries is a series of zines, all containing a different journal entry, and all encoded in a different code, including scripts from fictional languages as well. In order to read any of the entries and satisfy that juicy craving one gets only when they are wracked with the complicated and tempting desire to read someone else’s journal, you must first solve the code inside. Somewhere on each of these zines, there is a riddle in plain text. The solution to these riddles say which code has been used to encrypt the journal entry inside.
There are three different types of zine format displayed here. Each of these indicates a difficulty level. The rectangular zines are the easiest to solve, with the least obscure codes, but they also contain the least sensitive journal entries. The Turkish Fold zines (the ones with green paper) are at the approximate midpoint of difficulty. The codes are more obscure, but not too niche, and contain somewhat more sensitive journal entries. The Fortune Teller zines (with purple paper) have the most difficult codes to solve. As they are the most difficult, they contain the most sensitive information.
